Datsun My Datsun 1600


Here are a few shots of my Datsun 1600. They were taken in rain at night so they arent that flash. Also it has had a few more mods since these photos, 15" wheels, different exhaust

The Datsun is my current runabout, but will hopefully be restored soon.

Head: A87 SSS with 280ZX 44mm valves, 40mm ports
CR: 10.5:1
Cam: Wade 640A 305deg duration, .390" cam lift, .585" valve lift
Carbs: Twin Weber 45DCOE on Datrally manifold
Ignition: Bluebird Series II Electronic, MSD 6 CDI unit
Exhaust: Stewart Wilkins Extractors with 2 1/4" full stainless system, one muffler
Gearbox: 240K 5 Speed
Clutch: 240K Flywheel with 225mm 4 puck brass button clutch plate, heavy duty pressure plate
Diff: 4.375:1 R180 720 4WD front diff
Brakes: 240K twin spot Sumitomo front, R31 rear discs, 180B Master cyl/booster, Braided lines, Ferodo DS2500 pads
Suspension: Bilstein shocks all round, King springs lowered 1.5", 24mm front swaybar, adjustable front arms and castor rods
Wheels: 15" mags 195/50/15 Dunlop FM901
Inside: Recaro Seats, Momo steering wheel, Sony 10 stacker

I have a close ratio 260Z gearbox, just haven't had time to fit it yet.
